None of the rooms in Kariwak Village have a TV. This enhances the feeling of peace and quiet that pervades the resort. The rooms feature dark furnishings and low lighting. The majority have cabana style architecture and décor and are located around the resort’s pool. Six are tucked away in the lovely gardens, for an added sense of privacy and seclusion. The resort is popular with couples and single travellers. It has a friendly and laidback, very casual and relaxing atmosphere. Facilities include the Kariwak Village restaurant. This enjoys a Caribbean ambience. It is an open air restaurant with thatched roofs, clay tiled floors and coral stone walls. The furnishings are bamboo and rattan. It serves a selection of Caribbean and Creole cuisine, flavoured with fresh herbs grown in the Kariwak garden. The hotel’s bar is popular with guests and locals. It serves a range of drinks and cocktails and is the perfect place to trade stories and enjoy the sunset.
